Yes, really. Well, it’s a special type of hate where I can be your best friend still hate that you’re a Christian and tell you repeatedly. It’s not like I burn Christians at the stake. (It takes a Christian to do that).

Except I don’t lump you in hell(nor does the body of Christ) . Our own sinful nature does that. As does my sinful nature. Christ has just saved me from my sinful nature, saved me from the punishment I deserve and is giving me what I don’t deserve.

It’s not this person’s religion that lumps is all in hellfire, its our own “evil nature.” We DESERVE hellfire and eternal torture. Come on! That’s just basic! Of COURSE you deserve eternal punishment for your sins. I mean, I think I lied to my mother the other day… I’m not even sure what terrible things the rest of you sinners have been up to…
This lucky person, though, has been SAVED from all that! They found Jesus! And, if you only believed that this primitive human sacrifice absolved you of all your wrongdoings, YOU could be saved too!
Ok, look, “Christian,” technically it’s not our “sinful nature” that dooms us to hell. Your God made the rules. I’ve read his book. Blaming your “sinful nature” is just the way you ridiculous people justify this callousness towards humanity on the part of your God. “Surely God can’t WANT people to go to hell, so it’s obviously our fault that we do! God can’t help it!”

Come on, man. Yeah some Christians can be a little blunt and “in your face” but if he isn’t hurting anyone with his beliefs do you really have to go irate at him? I mean there’s no universal truths anyway so you’re no more right or wrong than he is. To claim that someone is mentally stable because they choose to believe one thing is a little ridiculous, wouldn’t you say? I mean it would be like a Jew claiming Atheists are mentally unstable.
